Integrating multiple spatial information techniques like GIS, RS and Aerial Photogrammetry etc., the center focuses on spatial data acquisition, spatial data mining and applications with high-performance computing and spatial data processing algorithms. Research areas include multi-angle photogrammetry, landscape 3D reconstruction, spatial statistic analysis, super-complex core GIS algorithms, large RS data mining, and resources, environment and ecology remote sensing applications. Current research are supported by national and local governments and company funded projects. Research findings have been published in top journals and international conference proceedings.
